We are currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to provide hands on management of the engineering team for a prestigious site in the St Helens area.
Key responsibilities:
*Manage a team of three Electricians, two Mechanical Engineers and four Civil Engineers across two sites
*Responsible for all site maintenance, including complex fault finding and rectification on a variety of equipment.
*Provide technical engineering advice and support for the maintenance of equipment, fabric and utility services.
*Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard, including risk assessments, managing the internal database system, directing sub contractors, developing the team, updating manuals and supporting the General Manager with the day to day operation on site.
*Ensure staff are managed effectively to deliver a high quality, professional service
*Ensure work is carried out as per service level agreement, Company policy and current legislation.
*Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of health and safety and take any action as is necessary.
Experience required:
*Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing environment
*Experience of supervising a team
*A recognised apprenticeship or HNC in Electrical Engineering
*IOSH Working Safely or equivalent.
*IT literate
*Excellent communication skills
*Knowledge of Health & Safety
