We are currently looking for qualified commercial catering engineer (ACS) within the maintenance industry to carry out various roles in and around the Newcastle area. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and also part of a team.
The catering engineer will be completing the PPM's and reactive maintenance/service to all commercial catering equipment.
Main Duties:
1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all Industrial / commercial catering services as required to include combi ovens, grills, burners, fryers and dishwasher etc.
2. Procure materials and equipment to carry out works.
3. Complete worksheets for works undertaken and obtain authorisation for the Clients representative.
4. Advise Client of minor additional works, compile estimates and submit through coordinators/Supervisors/Contract Managers
5. Properties such as restaurants, pubs, and prestigious corporate facilities.
6. Carry out fault diagnosis, repair of and advise as required.
7. Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration. 8. Sign off commercial gas certificates
Qualifications Skills Required:
Must have ACS Commercial Catering gas qualifications. COMCAT 1,2,3,5. and or COCATA1.
C & G in Gas Engineering or Equivalent (Gas Safe Registered)
Experience in PPM's & reactive works within HVAC Building Services
Full UK Driving licence (minimum points accepted)
