Gas Engineer to work within Public sector and Commercial buildings spreading from Dundee to Inverness
With over 50 years of experience of Building Support Services in the UK, our client is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Gas Engineer (Commercial Gas) to support a number of new contracts across the North of Scotland. The successful applicants will not only provide the highest level of customer service but also provide current knowledge of Gas and/or Air Conditioning disciplines.
The role will involve completing routine PPM's and reactive maintenance to all heating and ventilation systems within the facilities. There may be fitting and modernization projects to complete.
The candidate will be ensuring heating, ventilation and mechanical services are maintained at all times. Having experience and expertise to diagnose faults and rectify them. Ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained, etc. The Commercial Heating Engineer must have their ACS - Commercial elements.
The candidate MUST display a "can-do-attitude" and have previously worked as a Commercial heating engineer within the public/commercial sectors, undertaking routine heating repairs & maintenance, conversant with small works installations and the testing / completing of documentation.
The Heating Engineer will have good understanding of Health & safety within the workplace and minimum qualifications. ACS Modules. Electrical or Air Conditioning qualifications will be a distinct advantage.
The successful applicant could be required in any of our contracts within Scotland however essentially focused on Dundee to Inverness.
Our client is offering a package of:
£30 - 35K
Company vehicle
On-call 1 out of 8 weekends @ £100 call out payment (with a minimum of 4 hours guaranteed)
Overtime available
Reporting to M+E Manager
