So we at PRS are looking to take on our next Trainee Recruitment Entrepreneurs and if you have just watched the Apprentice the reason why this stage it’s so brilliant is that we can all relate to it.
Each and every one of us will have suffered a sticky interview at some stage. Those facts and figures you could recall with ease on the train? Gone. That gentle embellishment of your CV? Underlined in red pen. We squirm and sweat because we understand.
You should always bring great energy to every interview, regardless of the type, but it is especially true of an Apprentice interview process. You will be asked to work in (and lead) a group, answer questions you will never truly be able to answer exactly, complete tasks as quickly and correctly as possible, and be under the microscope of a number of different observers.
It is tough and it is stressful, but if you don’t bring energy and make an impression, you won’t get the job.
Keep these thoughts in mind, and you should have no problem excelling as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant for PRS. It will be exciting, it will be exhausting, and it will be incredibly rewarding to know that, if you put in 100% you will be very successful.
According to a report released by Ernst & Young in August 2013, the rise of popular television programmes like The Apprentice, have helped to encourage and foster an entrepreneurial culture across the UK. The report revealed that 71% of entrepreneurs surveyed thought the UK encourages an entrepreneurial spirit.
The great thing about recruiting is that the personal background is irrelevant for the success. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for your success. Take advantage of the opportunity to talk to your colleagues of your team and share experiences. And if it's something critical, stick with it. The success will come.
You will have a proven track record of success in previous employment, university or education and will thrive working in our high performance, corporate sales environment. You’ll demonstrate your exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to deal in a professional manner with your clients and candidates, whilst also building relationships. You will be ambitious and driven to progress your career through demonstrating your inquisitive nature and thirst for knowledge. As well as possessing both excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have attention to detail with a strong work ethic to achieve successful results.
What will I be doing?
• Sourcing candidates for opportunities with our clients.
• Updating our database with candidates and client information.
• Matching talented candidates to job briefs.
• Booking in candidate meetings.
• Writing job adverts.
• High level of administration support.
