Technical Services Manager – Flagship Building City of London

£75,000 – £80,000 + Private Healthcare + Private Pension + Bonus + Career Progression

Reporting to the General Manager, the Technical Services Manager (TSM) is responsible for managing the high standard of operational services in mechanical, electrical and public health systems, ensuring consistent, seamless and efficient standards are met, to ensure Client’s, Occupiers and their visitors can focus on their core business.
 
The delivery of services objective is to provide maximum customer satisfaction, by fostering strong and long-lasting working relationships with stakeholders.
 
The TSM will familiarise themselves with the Client’s sustainability strategy in order to actively manage the energy and building performance to deliver optimised energy efficiencies and provide reporting that demonstrates compliance and achievements. 
 
TSM will have experience in delivering engineering excellence through robust asset management frameworks such as ISO55001 and be responsible for the development of engineering policies, strategies and implementation plans that meet the building needs and exceed occupier expectations.
 
The TSM ensures that the MEP service partners perform as a cohesive team reflecting the vision and ambition of the Client. The role requires the effective management of these partners to provide the services within the scope, budget and in accordance with their contractual obligations, service level agreements and key performance indicators.
 
This role is key to the successful development and support of our Client’s and Occupier’s business. As a TSM, you will provide the Client with technical advice, leadership and guidance, based on your strong knowledge and experience within the industry.
 
Not only will your support and advice be based on your excellent knowledge of industry standards, guidance and best practice, your understanding and practical experience of how buildings are designed, operated and used will deliver pragmatic solutions to our Client’s challenges.
 
You will work collaboratively with other engineers in the business unit to continuously improve your technical knowledge and competencies. Sharing knowledge is key in enabling our service partners, engineers and occupiers to provide the very best solutions.
 
Excellent report writing and communications skills are required and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues is essential.  A working knowledge on the following services is vital:
