PRS are pleased to be working with this global TFM Service Provider to recruit for a Facilities Manager to be based in Dublin.  The account spans London and Dublin, and the Facilities Manager will need to be located full time in Dublin.  The role involves managing the facilities for a commercial office property in Dublin and assisting with additional real estate management to accompany the account. 
This post reports into the Lead Facilities Manager on the account. 
Purpose of the role:

  • Responsibility for supporting the Facilities Manager in the operational tactical facilities management delivery within your area of responsibility in accordance to contractual obligations.
  • Ensure complete adherence to client and company KPIs & SLAs, Statutory and Mandatory Legislation including Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and all policies and procedures.
  • Take direct responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself, your team and others who may be affected by work activities.
  • To support the management of post financial and commercial targets, ensuring all margins are controlled and managed within the parameters of agreed budgets.
  • To proactively manage WIP through control of contractors and own team to deliver on agreed timelines and to agreed standards.
  • To continuously develop and improve the quality of the services provided, in accordance to company and client objectives.
  • To provide effective leadership to your team, acting by example.
  • To effectively organise and manage staff to deliver the contracted services.
  • To recruit, induct, train, develop and motivate your team
  • To support the Facilities Manager in managing all aspects of people management, including conflict, grievance and disciplinary in-line with company process and policy.
  • To produce business management data for reports as determined for customer.
  • To Leverage diversity and inclusion and inspire others to do the same.
  • To be up to date with industry innovations appropriate to the contract and business unit future growth.
  • To deputise for the Lead Facilities Manager in their absence.

Commercial & Financial Management Control

  • Establish a full and in depth knowledge of the cutomers’ NEC3 contract
  • Ensure working practices are monitored and reviewed regualry leveraging the most productive, ergonomic and efficient practices and methods.
  • Supervise the labour resouce to ensure overtime is effectively controlled
  • Ensure that works are delivered within the scope of the contract and contract creep is managed and eradicated.
  • Manage the delivery of fixed fee and new works ensuring all margins are controlled and managed within the parameters of agreed budgets

Person Specification:

  • Education Level
    • Qualified in an FM related discipline or equivalent experience in similar role


  • Professional Qualifications
    • Membership of appropriate organisation desirable
    • MBIFM, IOSH managing safely


  • Experience
    • Experience managing Integrated Facilities Management (hard & soft services)
    • Strong people management and leadership skills
    • Sound understanding of NEC3 contracts preferred
    • Ability to understand budgets and manage services in line with them
    • SC or local in-Country equivalent.
