Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Up to £34,000 per annum plus plenty of overtime
Fantastic opportunity for an electrically biased maintenance engineer that wants to join an existing team working at a static site in Birmingham. This company has a proven track record of internal promotion, and investing in training and development on behalf of their employees. This is a days role, working Monday – Friday, with ample opportunities for overtime.
You’ll be an electrically biased building services maintenance engineer, with a strong background in all aspects of electrical, mechanical and HVAC maintenance. Your main duties will include (but not be limited to)
To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical, mechanical, HVAC and building fabric systems.
To cover all maintenance of electrical distribution, controls, lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
To cover all maintenance of mechanical, air handling units, fan coils, and plumbing systems.
To provide air conditioning maintenance.
To complete PPM’s in line with SLA and KPI agreements
To undertake minor installation works such as lighting and small power installations
To undertake electrical works on the BMS, power supply, lighting, power generation, HVAC, UPS, A/C units, etc
To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines
You’ll hold formal qualifications to back up your experience, such as qualified electrically (City and Guilds 236 Electrical Installation Parts 1 and 2 and 17th/18th edition)
On offer is a permanent position, working Monday – Friday, paying up £34,000 per annum for the right candidate.
