The Service Transition Engineer will manage and oversee the planning and effective execution of all customer implementation projects, in accordance with contractual agreements and implementation timelines. Based out of an office in the City of London, the individual will be accountable for on time delivery of project within budget.

You will be responsible for :

  • Overseeing and managing customer implementation projects
  • End-to-end project planning, consisting of work orders with resource allocation,
  • quality specs and timeline.
  • immediately notifying and including HQ group Service Transition in case of “Super 7”
  • accounts implementation projects
  • Creation of projects Purchase Orders using preferred suppliers and managing the
  • budget.
  • Allocates work orders to Engineers, sub-contractors, capacity management and security, oversees
    their effective delivery, and ensures they meet customer and business requirements.
  • Ensures that project plans, work orders and associated documentation and systems are reviewed,
    tested, updated and completed, and that audits and quality checks are completed in accordance with
    company policies.
  • Acts as interface for customers during the transition project.
  • Co-ordinate multiple agreements and keeps a complete record of the process and results.
  • Managing and supervising installation of equipment in the data center in accordance with the Customer Implementation plan, timelines and budget.
  • The handover of all required documentation and artefacts (eg. As-Built drawing, SalesForce OPP/IWO# and non-standard regulations)

  • Work experience in the data center sector or telecommunications environment 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor level (e.g. Degree in science, engineering or related discipline or equivalent) is desirable 
  • Specialized depth and breadth of technical expertise , ITIL Expert Certified is desirable
  • PM Certified desirable
