I’m currently looking for a Head of Retail to join catering team in a new contract. You will lead a team of approximately 20 staff, and look after 2 staff restaurants and 2 bars.

Salary: up to £40k
Work pattern: 5 out of 7
Site location: Milton Keynes (single site)
New contract: Opening in April 2023 – candidate to start working Feb/March 2023

About you: Must have strong previous experience from hotels, high end restaurants, high street retail or contract caterers.

Main duties:
* Manages the team to ensure they follow food hygiene and H&S processes taking corrective actions as required
* Manages the stock ordering and monitors the delivery processes to ensure the correct items are ordered, received and updated on the system
*Makes sure all equipment is well maintained, clean and in good working order
*Ensures the payroll is closed accurately and on time
*Ensures their team adhere to all company policies and procedures
*Ensures that the area of responsibility is set up, operates effectively and is closed in line with operating procedures
*Reviews the performance of the staff throughout service to ensure the food is deliver to a high standard and in a timely way
*Reviews and responds to customer’s feedback
*Ensures the right people are recruited into the right roles at the right time
*Inspires, motivates and leads their team
