We are recruiting for a Lead Electrician with test and inspection experience to plan and complete periodic testing to all electrical services and plant within a large scale facility.
The role is based out of Wakefield with requirements on local satellite sites.
The role is a permanent position 37-38k basic
No on-call
Pool vehicle for satellite site visits
flexible working start and finish times, Mon-Fri 40 hours per week plus overtime

Description:
To be part of an existing electrical team on the facility and to lead the testing and electrical compliance work.
To complete fixed wire testing
Complete checks and tests on in-house and sub-contractor works
ECIR Tests
Thermal Imaging checks (training provided)
Compliance checks
Logging of data and maintaining records
Checks on mains, power, lighting, emergency systems etc.
Lead and supervision of contractors and operatives on the facility where required
Maintain test records

Requirements:
A qualified electrician (Part 1,2 or NVQ level 3 ideally with 18th edition)
Must have experience and qualifications with fixed wire testing ( test and inspection) – 2391
General electrical compliance experience for power, plant emergency lighting, general lighting and PA testing
Can also supervise visiting sub-contractors ( sub-contractor control)
Capable of issuing permits and understanding risk and method statements.
Lead Engineering and advice to non-technical personnel
