Our client is looking to recruit for a Project Manager to undertake or oversee the planning, project management and completion of projects (renovation & refurbishment) to a prestigious estate in the Leeds area. The PM role will involve both refurbishment and new build within the site following a recent large scale investment plan. The role is a permanent position 35 hours per week days with flexible hybrid working.
Salary is up to 42k with an excellent supporting package including a competitive holiday allowance 25-30 days and an 19% employer pension contribution.
The role is FTC but may also continue into a full permament position
The Project Manager will undergo duties below such as:
Identify and generate project works from the projected plan
Projects will include life-cycle management, renovation, improvement works, small works, redesign etc. and involve M&E and fabric / building works to the estate buildings and work space.
Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor.
Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case
Manage costing, planning and project delivery including in-house and sub-contractor management
Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) “end to end”. Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub contractor management and site manager duties.
Identify and develop a short/medium and long term pipeline
Liaise with colleagues managers to determine and identify project opportunities
Value all sub contractor accounts and make application for procurement processes
Define and understand the scope of work to meet the estates requirements and specification
Be in attendance on site for the works
Requirements:
Experienced Project Manager from a build, site development or construction background
Grade-to-grave Project operations
Ability to quote and generate project documentation
Excellent Stakeholder communication skills
Experience of projects ranging form small works to capital
Ideally experience delivering multiple projects on large estate portfolio’s
Sub-contractor management experience
