Project Manager – Air Conditioning, £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance
Kent based office
We require an experienced Project Manager with a background in HVAC (A/C Engineering) and previous experience of overseeing commercial building services engineering works. The role is with a developing M&E Maintenance company who have grown from strength to strength during the last few years, who are after bolstering their projects department due to the maintenance contracts they have won and the project work that comes with it. The work is prominently based in the London and Home Counties.
You will need to have a minimum of 6 years industry experience, ideally currently working as a HVAC Project Manager and have Refrigeration & Air Conditioning vocational qualifications. As external meetings with clients are an essential part of the role professional presentation are essential.
Experience in the following services experience with are:
• Close control/RCU/CRAC and large condensing unit supply and installation.
• Split System supply and Installation or replacement upgrade. (Daikin D1/Mitsubishi A1).
• VRV System Installations or replacement upgrade. (Daikin D1/Mitsubishi A1).
• Replacement Project Packages for Water Chillers/Packaged Refrigeration Equipment/R22 o Chilled water system infrastructure
• Ventilation Installations / Upgrades
The main duties and requirements of this role include:
• Attend Pre-Tender Meetings
• On site management of jobs up to £1,000,0000
• Maintain relationships between client, subcontractors, and partners
• Managing employees and sub-contractors
• Completing projects on time and within budget.
• Providing support on project planning, scheduling, productivity and progression.
• Estimating new jobs
• System design
• Developing technical quotations
• Value engineering and scoping work
• Producing project reports
• Completing and managing risk assessments
• Maintaining health and safety on site, including reports and actions
• Procurement
