We are recruiting for an experienced Handyperson / Janitor, to work in Edinburgh City Centre. Start ASAP on going role, hours are Monday – Friday 7.00am – 2.30pm with 30 mins unpaid break. All general low level handyperson tasks and cleaning to be carried out. Pay rate £12.00ph PAYE + holiday pay. Must have a driving license min 3 pts accepted and must also have a PVG or DBS or willing to undertake a basic Disclosure Scotland

General duties will include
Perform duties in a courteous, clean and efficient manner.
Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles to a good level both inside and out.
Collection/ distribution of mail.
Collection and remove of all waste.
Delivery, collection and replenishment of laundry.
To carry our any other such reasonable job-related tasks as the company may require you to undertake.
Ensure all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned ensuring correct materials are used.
Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary.
Check equipment is safe and in working order.
Carry out extra spring-cleaning tasks as required.
Ensure that the most efficient and safe use of materials is affected.
Comply with the Health and Safety Regulations and Fire Policy. Report hazards to management.
Maintain company hygiene standards.
Follow company or unit policy in dealing with customer comments or complaints.
Carry out all general vehicle checks as per check form that will be provided
Ensure any vehicle is safe and not overloaded
