PRS are currently working with one of our International clients to provide them with support at one of their key sites in Newcastle postcode NE66. We are looking for a General Catering Assistant working in a contract catering operation, full time hours 5 days out of 7. Hourly rate for the position is £12.50 per hour plus holiday pay. This is a full time, ongoing role with a very strong possibility of it becoming permanent if all goes well. This role is open to a start as soon as possible provided all the relevant criteria are met.

You will need to have a strong ‘can do’ positive attitude with the ability to use your initiative when required as well as follow clear instruction.

The site in question requires all staff to have a Basic DBS. If you do not have one, then you must be willing to have one done before starting.

You will be part of a strong catering operation and it is important that you are a team player as well as flexible to the needs of the business.

Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable but more important is a friendly out going personality. Cash handling experience would also be beneficial but not essential.
