Salary: up to £44,000 depending on experience

As an experienced Gas Engineer, you will be expected to carry out maintenance and installations including heating, hot/cold water systems, testing, above ground drainage, sanitary ware and copper and steel pipe work.

You will also be required to monitor the progress of maintenance/installation tasks ensuring works are completed according to your agreed plan of work and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. Ensuring that all Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments are appropriate for the tasks at hand.
It is essential that you provide regular updates to your Supervisor/Line Manager and maintain daily contact with the customer.
Identify and implement operational improvements to ensure continued provision of high-quality service.
 
It is expected that as an experienced Gas Engineer you will have the following:

• Minimum Level 2 certificate in engineering/maintenance discipline’s
• Highly motivated, with an adaptable and flexible approach who is approachable and polite.
• High standards of personal integrity and professionalism who is willing to train, update and improve themselves and others.
• Ability to think and react to immediate problems and issues without losing sight of or compromising long term goals
• The ability to gather information from all relevant sources to organise, plan and prioritise work
