We are recruiting for a Building manager with a strong hard services bias, to work on behalf of the client, to manage a flagship multi-tenanted office, occupied by a number of high profile global and regional companies.
Main duties to include (but not limited to)
- Create, manage and monitor service charge budget, raise orders and track expenditure.
- Specify, tender, negotiate and manage hard and soft FM contracts and suppliers.
- Work closely with surveyors, assist agents with viewings and present monthly report to client.
- Build and maintain relationship with occupiers, provide point of contact and chair tenant meetings
- Review contractor performance, host monthly meetings and liaise with tenant contractors.
- Monitor compliance, review security and emergency procedures and maintain a safe environment.
- Career development, line management and appraisals of FM team.
- Oversee all operational activities and manage internal and external common areas of the property.
- Direct point of contact for client.
Person requirements:
- NEBOSH a must
- Demonstrable understanding of the delivery of building services HVAC maintenance./water management understanding and or willing to obtain training through industry recognised courses.
- Experience in a similar role, either from the client or the service provider perspective.
On offer is a permanent role paying a basic salary of up to £55,000 per annum, plus package.
