Job Title: Head of Energy Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Energy Services. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of our energy services division. You will lead a team of energy professionals, driving the growth of our business and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients. As the Head of Energy Services, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company’s strategic direction in the ever-evolving energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Leadership:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the energy services division, aligning with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
  • Provide visionary leadership, setting clear goals and objectives for the team and driving a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and ensure a competitive edge.

Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establishing strong relationships with potential clients, and expanding the company’s customer base.
  • Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations to secure new energy services projects.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create effective strategies to promote the company’s energy services and enhance brand awareness.

Project Management:

• Oversee the successful execution of energy services projects, ensuring compliance with project scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers, ensuring effective resource allocation, risk management, and problem-solving.
  • Monitor project performance and evaluate key metrics to drive continuous improvement and achieve client satisfaction.

Team Management:

• Build and lead a high-performing team of energy professionals, fostering a culture of professional development, mentorship, and employee engagement.
  • Set performance goals for team members, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing, collaboration, and cross-functional cooperation within the energy services division and across other company departments.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, regulatory bodies, and industry organizations.
  • Represent the company in industry conferences, seminars, and events to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advocate for policies and initiatives that promote sustainable energy practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy management, business, or a related field (a master’s degree is a plus).
• 5 years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on energy services, renewable energy, energy efficiency, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful business development and project management in the energy sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, executives, and industry professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of energy markets, industry regulations, and emerging trends in sustainable energy practices.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Professional certifications in energy management (e.g., Certified Energy Manager, LEED Accreditation) are highly desirable.
