Construction Project Manager (Must speak English and German) – €90-100K + 10-15% bonus and healthcare

We are seeking an experienced construction project manager accountable for the safe delivery of Data Centre projects at various sites of the Frankfurt data centre hub who is fluent in both German and English.
  
The Construction Project Manager will be accountable for managing a team of internal and external stakeholders to deliver Hyperscale Data Centre, Retail Data Centre and Infrastructure projects on site.
The position requires a self-motivated, construction leader who will lead a dedicated team of internal and external professionals to deliver industry leading Data Centre construction, infrastructure and fit out projects at dedicated sites of the Frankfurt data centre hub.
 
Your Responsibilties

• Be accountable for strategic planning and execution of Data Centre construction, fit out, infrastructure projects, as well as of post-handover projects at our Frankfurt sites
• Manage, develop and coach a team of internal and external Construction Managers, Project Managers and Design Managers, and General/Sub-Contractors
• Develop and foster a strong sense of ownership within the project delivery team and Global Data Centre peer stakeholders to drive and maintain industry best practice standards across the campus
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement industry best practice Health, Safety and Security standards onsite
• Govern, measure and if required correct project performance against key performance indicators and commitments across Safety, Schedule, Quality and Cost targets
• Collaborate in the Design and Engineering to ensure regulatory and permitting requirements are clearly defined, planned and executed on
• Perform general Construction management tasks, including but not limited to Project, Cost and change management meetings, controls and reporting
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of project status to the Senior Regional Construction Program Manager and wider business
• Pro-actively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that arise during the course of the projects
• Continuously monitor, assess and address project staff, External Vendor and Contractor performance and have the ability to coach the respective teams and outline objective development opportunities where required

Your profile

• Have experience in a site based management role within the construction industry, overseeing multiple concurrent capex projects.
• Have extensive experience in the planning and delivery of large capex projects, varying delivery methods and forms of contract.
• Demonstrate Data Centre construction experience.
• Possess excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to navigate complex and high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication skills
• Have experience in presenting to senior leadership both internally and within our Clients Teams. 
• Excellent project management experience and skillset, with the ability to operate within a multi-cultural environment.
• Business fluent in German and English language
