Building Services Maintenance Manager
Solihull
£43,000 per annum plus package

Opportunity for a technically qualified maintenance manager to take ownership of the hard services delivery at a static site in Solihull. This role will suit someone living within reasonable commuting distance of Solihull, that has a building services engineering background, and has worked as either a supervisor or a manager in the delivery of hard services maintenance, and thrives in a client facing role.

The main duties for the Building Services Maintenance Manager, will be to lead and manage the site based engineering maintenance team, inspect the site to identify problems and arrange necessary maintenance or repair in accordance with the contract SLA’s. You will ensure that reactive repairs are completed within the contract priorities, minimising long lead times before something needs replacing. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and facilities under your control always operate at peak efficiency, whilst being responsible for energy efficiency and management. 

Key requirements for this role:

City & Guilds or equivalent in a mechanical / electrical discipline
Demonstrable experience in a technical management role (min 3 years) 
Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
Knowledge of current health & safety practices and regulations
Understanding of budgeting and performance management
Excellent planning and team leadership abilities
Experience of CAFM systems
Current clean driving licence

On offer is a permanent position, paying a salary of £43,00 per annum, 25 days annual leave plus stats, healthcare and death in service.
