Overall Job Discription:

To survey properties and prepare the relevant paperwork by way of DRCs to a high standard for the preparation of the installation of a new boiler. To ensure that engineers/operatives are working to gas industry and Health and Safety guidelines. To communicate and enhance relationships with internal staff, clients and to consistently improve Safety, Quality and productivity.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

•       Carry out surveys and produce DRC’s to a high standard including specifics to detail and photographs to support DRC’s to ensure that blow out jobs are minimised.
•       Conduct install starts to eliminate blow outs to reduce expenditure and to confirm the installer agrees with works going ahead.
•       Provide comprehensive and accurate specification of installations following a site visit.
•       When necessary to carry out QA inspections post installation.
•       Involvement and liaison with complaints to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
•       Liaise with engineers to give feedback following the QA visit.
•       Maintain good links with Quality Assurance Manager and Installation Team.
•       Effective communication with contract administrators

•       Thorough and up to date Gas safety and technical knowledge
•       A full driving licence is essential.
•       Presentable in appearance with a positive attitude to clients, work and colleagues.
•       The ability to lead by example.
•       Confident approach to normal and demanding situations.
•       Good communication skills.

•       Good organisational/time management skills
•       Good problem-solving skills.
