PRS are working with a specialist contractor who are recruiting for a Site Manager to work on Heritage Projects on listed buildings. In the role of Site Manager you will oversee the delivery of restoration, refurbishment and upgrade projects within the heritage sector, working on Grade 1 & 2 Listed Buildings. Experience of working on similar projects is desirable for this post.
Job Summary – Site Manager
To ensure all works are carried out to the highest standard by the company and the client whilst adhering to all relevant legislation.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage directly employed and subcontracted labour on site.
- Ensure safe working practices, accuracy and quality of work carried out.
- Liaise with clients, building team, consultants and other stakeholders effectively and professionally.
- Order materials, labour and plant in a cost-effective manner.
- Prepare, compile, review, and update site administration to Company and Legislative standards.
- Attend interviews for prospective projects as required by Line Manager.
- Attend regular progress and ad hoc technical meetings.
- Ensure timely completion of works and production of handover documentation as required.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Asbestos Awareness
- RAMs training
- CSCS
Personal skills and attributes
- The candidate will need to be able to clearly communicate with site personnel, the professional team including the client.
- Building successful working relationships with staff, tradespeople, and clients
- Competence in Email and Microsoft Word Clear written and verbal communication skills,
- The ability to organise and prioritise work load.
