We are recruiting for a maintenance electrician based in the Edinburgh area covering the maintenance of a prestigious facility in the area.
The role is a permanent position based on a rotating day shift pattern.
38k basic (40k basic if AP trained – training will be provided for AP and therefore increase the base to 40k once complete)
7am-4pm
Rotating – 4 on / 1 off / 2 on / 1 off / 4 on / 2 off
Overtime available
on call 1 in 4 (£100)
Maintenance Electrician Duties:
Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to:
Electrical systems
Lighting and emergency lighting
Controls and BMS
Basic Plumbing maintenance
Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
Fabric duties
Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temps etc.
Small works installation
Emergency repairs
All ad- hoc maintenance tasks
The role will involve other aspects of building maintenance including basic plumbing, fabric upkeep and compliance etc.
Requirements:
A qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or C&G 1 and 2)
18th edition
Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
Excellent client facing skills
Ideally to have previous AP training (or willing to complete AP training
Willingness to complete fabric, plumbing and mechanical tasks
Good IT / job logging experience (Maximo system)
