Job Description: You will play a pivotal role in the success of their projects. Collaborating closely with architects, general contractors, and building owners, you will ensure timely and accurately priced bids. As a leader, you will manage a team of proficient estimators, providing guidance and expertise in bid preparation. In addition, you will be a key driver in our business development efforts, leveraging existing networks and establishing new relationships to foster growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, general contractors, and building owners ahead of project commencement to understand project requirements.
- Ensure that bids are submitted on time and accurately priced.
- Lead and mentor a team of experienced estimators, providing guidance in bid preparation and estimation techniques.
- Drive business development efforts by leveraging existing networks and establishing new relationships to foster growth.
- Provide support in proposal generation when the estimating team is busy.
