We are looking to recruit and Electrical or Mechanical Supervisor to work on a large scale facility in the Cheshire area on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, between the hours of 7am – 3pm, Monday – Friday.Salary up to £45,000 per annum

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for carrying out, or assisting others in carrying out, maintenance, fault finding, repair, de-commissioning and re-commissioning on a wide range Electrical, Mechanical and Control equipment at the site plant and associated remote sites, ensuring that all equipment is correctly operated and maintained to maximise plant operation efficiency and the safety of personnel at all times.· Lead, manage and mentor all direct reports ensuring adequate training and development to maintain skill set, competency and succession· Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Supervisor shall undertake the role with minimum supervision, maintaining a flexible approach, focussing on the needs of the Client and effectively following the quality processes and procedures put in place, including pro-actively identifying areas for improvement· Carry out, or support others when carrying out, diagnosis and fault repairs on Electrical, Mechanical and Control plant and equipment· Carry out, or support others when carrying out, preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance work in order to meet plant reliability and performance targets Requirements:
- Knowledge and preferably proven experience and delivery of plant operations, engineering and maintenance activities
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety legislation and its impact on day to day operations
- An understanding of the processes and systems required to develop and maintain a high standard of work quality
- Minimum of BTEC National Certificate/City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent but preferred in an Electro-Mechanical craft discipline
- NVQ Level 3 in a craft discipline or equivalent
- Completed recognised relevant apprenticeship
- A formal health and safety related qualification e.g. IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
- Previous experience of supervising a small Operations and Maintenance Team with a proven track record
- Good fault finding and diagnostic skills
