We are recruiting for an Mechanical / Air Conditioning engineer or mechanical maintenance engineer to work on a prestigious facility in the Chester area. The role will be completing the maintenance and compliance to HVAC plant such as chillers, AHU’s, FCU’s etc.
The position is a permanent role Mon-Fri 40 hours per week paid (but with early Friday finish paid)
07:30-16:30 Mon-Thurs
07:30-13:30 Fri
Basic £36k
No on call
The HVAC engineer will be required to carry out PPM/reactive tasks and small works. Must have a working knowledge of chillers, HVAC building services plant systems etc. Must have a flexible “can do” approach, be able to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
Plant room and building services covered will include:
- Chillers
- AHU’s
- Fan coils
- Splits
- Boilers (non-gas)
- Pumps and valves
- Water systems
Requirements
• Experience in the building services, within a prestigious environment
• Either City & Guilds qualifications in a relevant HVAC trade
• F-Gas 2079
• An understanding of technical systems (i.e. Chillers, plant room etc)
Must be able to complete and pass a security check due to the nature of the facility
