We are recruiting for an experienced Fabric Maintenance Operative, working on a static basis at Albert Docks, Liverpool. This is a permanent role, 40 hours per week working Monday – Friday, salary is up to £33k DOE. Main tasks is to cover all PPM and reactive fabric maintenance and be responsible for general repairs at site plus carrying out all compliance checks and general fabric upkeep.
Main tasks
Completing reactive repairs, planned maintenance and small works projects.
Basic plumbing duties
Handyperson duties
Fabric maintenance duties – basic joinery, painting etc.
Emergency lighting checks
Tap temps and anti legionella work
Basic room repairs
Ad-hoc maintenance duties
Essential for the role
Maintenance and handyperson background
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar roleand have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks
Knowledge of basic Building services (water, heating, ventilation and waste)
Be prepared to undertake training as required by the post and the contract manager.
Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevantguidelines and bulletins.
