Job Title: Facilities Manager
Location: Dallas, TX
Language Requirement: Proficiency in both Chinese and English is required to effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients and team members.

Job Summary:Our client is seeking a dynamic and charismatic Facilities Manager with a strong background in facilities management. This role requires a facilities leader who can provide strategic direction, ensure operational excellence, and drive organic growth while fostering a culture of service excellence and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Management:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the account team to ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure optimum staffing structures, balancing cost reduction with service excellence and employee satisfaction.
  • Support effective business communication with clients, team members, supplier partners, tenants, landlords, and other stakeholders.
  • Promote and maintain company culture throughout the account, supporting People Engagement and DE&I objectives.
  • Accountable for all hiring decisions and ensure effective succession planning.

Strategic Development & Client Relationship:

  • Identify and execute opportunities for strategic development, driving organic growth through extra works and projects.
  • Act as the single point of contact for overall account operations, ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key clients, conducting formal reviews (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
  • Communicate with clients regarding property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, work order progress, and other related reports.

Operational Management:

  • Supervise, plan, and coordinate operations, including preventative and reactive maintenance, vendor services, help desk operation, and soft service delivery.
  • Ensure appropriate account review, audit, and governance regimes to meet regulatory, policy, and contractual commitments.
  • Drive innovation and thought-leadership, engaging with subject matter experts to provide diverse solutions to complex client problems.
  • Support collaborative development and effective teamworking aligned with the company’s core values.

Finance/Commercial Management:

  • Full responsibility for Profit & Loss, including development of account financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, management of WIP, debt, cost control, and growth.
  • Ensure effective commercial and financial governance through accurate reporting and appropriate checks and balances.
  • Review purchase orders for financial, contractual, and commercial accuracies.
  • Manage supply chain, including supplier performance reviews, negotiations, re-bidding, and identification of additional scope opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in facilities management
  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English is required
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of providing strategic direction and achieving operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at various levels.
  • Ability to drive innovation and provide creative solutions to complex problems.
