We are recruiting for a fabric maintenance operative to work across multiple facilities maintenance contracts completing building upkeep, compliance checks and basic joinery tasks.
The role will also involve training (provided and paid by the employer) to work on fire door inspections and checks.
On Offer:
The role is a permanent position
Mobile role – van supplied with personal use (if declared)
Salary is is circa 29-30k basic
40 hours per week plus overtime

Duties:
Your main duties will encompass carrying out various manual and skilled tasks to include:
·        PPM and reactive repairs to fabric building maintenance to include – basic joinery, patch plastering, painting, basic wet plumbing etc.
·        The role will also involve general handyperson duties
·        To work on compliance checks such as tap temps, emergency lighting checks and fire door checks (training provided)
·        Client liaison and coordination with the facility managers
 
Requirements:
The candidate should have previous experience of fabric maintenance and/or general trades.
Presentable and articulate, able to work closely with staff at all levels
Experience of commercial buildings and maintenance operations
Ideally some joinery experience and willingness to be trained on fire door inspection (certificate paid for by the company)
Valid driving license
