We are recruiting for a Technical Services Manager to oversee the technical compliance and hard facilities management across our clients North West portfolio.
The role is a newly created position due to increased portfolio growth. A permanent position based largely out of the Manchester office (circa 3 days) with hybrid working (home and site). The portfolio covers estates across the M62 belt (NW).
· 50-60k depending on experience level. Mon-Fri c40 hours per week.

Description:
· The Technical Services Manager will be proficient within their discipline and will need to be able to work across a variety of interrelated work streams including; Business Solutions, Transition Management, Operational, Contract Management, Project Management, Engineering Consultancy, Health and Safety Compliance Management, Sustainability and Energy Management.
· You will provide close management of the technical supply chain along with providing engineering and technical support to the portfolio.
· Demonstrable understanding of building engineering, technical services, and maintenance, typically in high-quality commercial office property.
· Delivery of identification process for opportunities of condition based maintenance.
· Delivery of BMS and Building optimisation program.
· Lead FM technical delivery across the portfolio.
· Client and tenant engagement for optimisation and asset modernisation programs.
· Technical problem solving and strategic planning.
Requirements:
· Ideally relevant Engineering qualification or experience.
· Relevant professional and/or technical qualification or membership IWFM/ NEBOSH/ IOSH
· Demonstrable understanding of building engineering, technical services, and maintenance, typically in high-quality commercial office property.
· Knowledge of working at height confined spaces pressure systems and substantial knowledge of operating, maintaining, and HVAC systems.
· Solid understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, L8, LOLER, PUWER, IPAF, PASMA, CDM, and High Voltage distribution.
· Excellent organisational skills & strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels.
· Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages.
· Able to create spreadsheets, presentations and write logical, succinct, and persuasive reports.
· Self-Management including showing initiative, being proactive and meeting deadlines
