Location: Brighton & Hove

Salary: £29,500
Hours: Monday to Friday
 
 
PRS are recruiting for two fabric maintenance handypersons to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a prestigious facility in the Hove area. The fabric maintenance handyperson will be responsible for general repairs, compliance checks, fabric maintenance and stock management. The role is a permanent position paying up to £29,500. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week.
 
Fabric Maintenance Handyperson Description:
Provide general maintenance to the facility including:

• Lamping
• Fabric maintenance
• Basic plumbing, patch painting etc.
• Completing compliance checks, emergency lighting, tap temps etc.
• Assisting engineers and trades on site
• Basic room repairs
• Porterage tasks
• Ad-hoc maintenance duties

 
Handyperson Requirements:

• To have maintenance and handyperson experience
• Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
• It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
• Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks
• Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
