Job Title: HSE Manager – Data Centre Solutions

Location: HayesSalary up to £65k per annum DOE + £5.1k car allowance
Site-based on client account in Hayes – they must be commutable to the site.
Holds NEBOSH/IOSH (+ engineering degree preferable not essential) FM / Engineering critical environment background is highly preferred
About the Role:The HSE Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs for medium to large-sized clients. This role is part of the Environment, Health, and Safety function, ensuring organisational programs and procedures safeguard employees and surrounding communities.Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive and proactive safety culture, influencing stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Develop, implement, and review playbooks and procedures to drive consistency and efficiency in Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives.
- Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
- Track operational and safety risks, developing and managing strategic risk management strategies to prevent incidents.
- Monitor injury, illness, and incident reports, identifying and implementing measures to reduce risk.
- Engage with high-profile stakeholders to identify potential concerns, troubleshoot issues, and suggest solutions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance within the account and execute strategic solutions to maintain compliance.
- Apply broad business operations knowledge and integrate discipline with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Lead by example, demonstrate professional behaviours, and influence others to adopt best practices.
- Identify and resolve complex technical and operational problems.
- Enhance existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, with 5 – 8 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Additional certifications as required by local authorities.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to convey performance expectations and manage challenges effectively.
- Ability to motivate teams to achieve operational targets with impact across multiple disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organisational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
