We are currently seeking Critical Electrically biased Shift Technician to be based on several large Data Centre contracts in Essex, working for maintenance providers and directly with the Data Hosting Company. As you may be aware data centres are a massively expanding industry due to the demand of the worldwide AI revolution and therefore a way to future proof your career. Working within a specialist Critical team you would be based at one of several state-of-the-art technical Data Centres that offer an excellent modern and clean environment to work within.

Electrically qualified engineers should come from a Critical facilities maintenance background, whether Banking, Data Centres or other Engineering maintenance environments, such as Pharmaceutical, Power stations, or Royal Navy. Candidates should ideally have completed an apprenticeship or have equivalent time-served experience within M&E maintenance environments. You would also have hands-on experience of covering the planned and reactive maintenance to Single & three-phase power, UPS, Power Generators, H/V Systems, HVAC plant, air conditioning, etc. Candidates will need to have full electrical City & Guilds, or equivalent.
