A rare and exciting opportunity has come up to work for the growing facilities maintenance company in a Iconic building in Oxford. My client is looking for one key member to complete their professional maintenance team, ensuring they continue to deliver an excellent service. You will be working working a Days Monday to Friday OR Continental Shift Pattern (Many positions available) You will be given an Electric Vehicle to travel to and from the site in Oxford.
The suitable candidate will have extensive commercial maintenance experience, Emergency lighting, Hot and colds, Fire alarm checks, FCU’s , AHU’s, UPS, BMS and riser experience. Particular knowledge of FCUs, water treatment and HVAC is needed and previous experience in a corporate client facing environment would be beneficial as this is a very corporate site. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with C&G / NVQ level 2 & 3 and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
Duties:
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast’s, Control panel, Power distribution)
- Emergency lighting & Fire Alarm Test’s
- Presurisation Units
- HVAC plant
- Plant room maintenance
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers – Re-set
- Pumps, Motors
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals etc
- BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
- UPS Systems – Monitor / Take readings
- General building fabric
- Escort sub contractors
Requirements:
- Trade trained with ideally 3 years’ experience in the building services
- City & Guilds Qualified Mechanical
- Good building services knowledge
- Excellent Client Facing
