Role: Chef Manager
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to oversee a small catering team and manage the day-to-day running of a busy on-site kitchen. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take the lead on food preparation, service delivery, and operational standards.
About the Role:
You’ll manage all aspects of the catering operation — from food production and team supervision to paperwork, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities for a Chef Manager:
- Lead and support a small kitchen team to deliver excellent food and service
- Oversee menu planning, ordering, and stock control
- Ensure all documentation and food safety records are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients
- Ensure the kitchen and service areas are kept clean, organised, and well presented
Requirements for a Chef Manager:
- Previous experience as a Chef Manager or Senior Chef leading a small team
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum required)
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
- Chef whites, knives, and safety shoes (or suitable chef footwear) required
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
What We Offer:

- Monday to Friday, 7am–4pm (no weekends)
