Van Mobile Refrigeration Engineer – Surrey – £43K
Location: Surrey, Portsmouth and Reading
Salary: £43K
Hours: Days Monday to Friday
My client is a well-established HVAC company that specialises in installation and maintenance of air conditioning are seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to look after a number of Restaurant sites across Surrey, Portsmouth and Reading. YOU WILL BE PAID DOOR TO DOOR TRAVEL
As an Refrigeraiton Engineer, you’ll enjoy working in a varied environment. You’ll be out and about on the road traveling to client Restaurants throughout your area, delivering a high level of diagnosis, maintenance, servicing, and repair work. You’ll have exceptional time management skills with an eagerness to learn. We’re passionate about retaining our top talent and love to promote within, giving you the opportunity to either gain qualifications and/or experience in other areas of the business if that’s what you want.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Chillers, Freezers and cold rooms
- Completed all PPM and Reactive Maintenance
- Reactive service including fault-finding mechanical, electrical and control systems, including performing emergency standby rota duties.
- Refrigerant recovery and charging.
- Ability to operate on own initiative and as part of a team to effect attainment of agreed targets and objectives
- Ability to develop a good understanding of our customers business requirements and operations
- Ensuring that work is always to the highest standard, seeking to achieve consistently high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Maintain levels of stock on the van to agreed specification.
- Able to prioritise and organise workload to achieve set deadlines and KPI
Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2078 / 2079 F-Gas Refrigerant Handling / A3/A2L Refrigerant Handling
- City & Guilds 207 – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- NVQ1, 2 & 3 – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
