Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in our Facilities Management operations. As an Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of tasks, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), handling FCUs and AHUs, conducting Emergency Light Testing, performing Reactive Maintenance, overseeing HVAC equipment, and Fire Alarm Testing. Your role will extend to encompass general building maintenance activities, all while adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality of electrical systems.
- Handle FCUs, AHUs, and conduct thorough Emergency Light Testing.
- Respond effectively to Reactive Maintenance demands, addressing technical issues promptly.
- Supervise and manage HVAC equipment and perform Fire Alarm Testing diligently.
- Contribute to general building maintenance, fostering a safe and efficient environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications: You are a fully qualified Electrician holding C&G or NVQ Level 2/3 certification.
- Certification: Possess the 18th Edition certification.
- Experience: You bring a wealth of experience in electrical engineering within the facilities maintenance sector.
- Leadership: You have demonstrated the ability to lead and supervise, even if informally, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Client-Centric: Your client-facing abilities shine through, making you adept at handling direct interactions or communication with clients.
- Technical Acumen: Your strong background in building services and technical understanding sets you apart.
