Are you a versatile and skilled engineer with electrical qualifications looking for a dynamic role in facilities maintenance? We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team in a mobile role, covering Swindon and the surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including electrical, mechanical, and general building services across multiple sites.
- Respond to reactive maintenance calls, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure all systems are operating at optimal performance.
- Carry out electrical installations, fault-finding, and repairs in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform general building maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and fabric repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, completing risk assessments and method statements as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed, using company systems to log tasks and updates.
- Liaise with clients on-site, providing updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the office team and other engineers to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Electrical Qualifications: Must hold relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within the facilities maintenance industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge across various building services, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Mobile Role: Comfortable with a mobile role, travelling across Swindon and surrounding areas.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Driving License: A full, clean driving license is essential.
