We are recruiting for a handyperson to cover PPM and reactive fabric maintenance on a mobile basis in the North West area. The maintenance handyperson will be responsible for general repairs within retail, commercial and healthcare facilities plus compliance checks and general fabric upkeep. This is a permanent role paying circa 32-33k basic plus OT, Circa 40 hours per week, Van supplied

Plumber Description:
To travel to each facility completing reactive repairs, planned maintenance and small works projects.
Basic plumbing duties
Handyperson duties
Fabric maintenance duties – basic joinery, painting etc.
Emergency lighting checks
Tap temps and anti legionella work
Assisting engineers and trades on site
Basic room repairs
Ad-hoc maintenance duties
 
Handyperson Requirements:
To have maintenance and handyperson experience
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Valid driving license
Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks
Knowledge of basic Building services (water, heating, ventilation and waste)
Be prepared to undertake training as required by the post and the contract manager.
Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
