Our client who has built their reputation for over 40 years are looking for a Critical Mechanical Engineer to join their Reactive and Planned Maintenance Team on a Data Centre Site based in North West London. The successful candidate will be required to work a Days Monday to Friday and will be rewarded with a £45,000 salary. Duties:
- Ensure environmental conditions are maintained at all times together with 100% uptime of all M&E critical building systems.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive and breakdown works to all mechanical and electrical systems as a member of the 24/7 on-site team at the Data Centre.
- Carrying out daily emergency callout tasks
- To monitor the Data Centre environments for changes in condition and identify the cause and provide report to the Team and Customer on the cause and effect.
- Assist in ensuring 100% uptime of Customer Data Centres.
- Following the move into the building (shell and core), supporting contractor/engineer’s activities such as isolations, connections, work permits, etc – where required.
- Maintaining systems and assets in a data driven environment, using new digital tools and platforms (training will be provided). Must be flexible and embrace new and emerging technology and techniques.
- Completing logbooks and RAMS
- Attending client meetings
- Engineers must be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, Generators, LV systems, which will include the ability to fault find.
Requirements:
- Trade trained with ideally 3 years’ experience in the building services
- City & Guilds Mechanical or Plumbing discipline competency, Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent apprenticeship.
- Willing to be Authorised as Mechanical AP on site.
