We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of Data Center M&E Engineer for an esteemed global facilities services business. This pivotal role demands advanced technical skills to execute preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in a Data Center environment. The selected candidate will oversee a range of critical electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS systems, generators, chillers, Electrical Distribution, HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS) systems, and CMMS Work Dispatching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily comprehensive inspections of Mechanical & Engineering (M&E) systems and technical equipment, ensuring optimal servicing and maintenance.
- Execute assigned tasks meticulously, adhering to established processes, procedures, and our client’s stringent Environment, Health, and Safety Policy. Strict adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements is mandatory.
- Assure full compliance with all regulatory mandates and rigorous quality standards.
Additional Duties:
- Provide vigilant oversight of third-party vendors, verifying their adherence to our client’s developed processes, procedures, and all relevant laws and regulations.
- Accompany vendors on site visits, as necessary, to ensure stringent site standards are met.
- Contribute to the formulation of robust work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work, incorporating comprehensive risk assessment. Maintain up to date CERM documents and logbooks.
Candidate Profile:
- Required: High School Diploma/GED
- Background in HVAC or Electrical; knowledge of emergency response/standby/call-out activities and protocols.
