Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – £45,000 – Hertfordshire
Location: Hertfordshire, Ware
Salary: £45,000 + Plenty of Overtime
Hours – Monday to Friday Days 8AM – 5PM
An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Ware, Hertfordshire has arisen!
A well-established maintenance provider who are renowned for their prestigious contracts are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking after a Prestigious site located in Hertfordshire. This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add a strong Mechanical Engineers to their team.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in Mechanical Building Maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £45,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Duties:
- Carrying out daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks
- Carrying out daily emergency callout tasks
- Presurisation Units
- HVAC plant
- Plant room maintenance
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers – Re-set
- Pumps, Motors
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals etc
- BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
- UPS Systems – Monitor / Take readings
Requirements:
- Trade trained with ideally 3 years’ experience in the building services
- City & Guilds Qualified Mechanical
- Has the will and desire to succeed and learn
- Good building services knowledge
