A rare and exciting opportunity has come up to work for the growing facilities maintenance company, This client offers specialist electrical engineering, design, installation, maintenance, commissioning and consultancy services to everyone from Network Rail, London Underground, Data Centers, Renewable and Commercial Businesses across the whole of the UK.
PRS Recruitment is currently looking for an Mobile High Voltage Electrical Technician to be based on a Portfolio of Commerical Office Buildings in London. The successful candidate will be Electrically biased (NVQ, C&G, 17th / 18th Edition etc) with a proven track record in Critical Environments. Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £50,000, van & fuel card, overtime, further training and career progression.

Duties:
- Maintenance of High Voltage electrical switchgear including basic testing.
- Installation of High/Low Voltage electrical Switchgear.
- Reviewing and sign-off critical switching and complex RAMS for electrical work
- Completing HV/LV Switching, HV SAP Duties supporting AP appointments, and managing Authorised Persons
- Installation maintenance of Transformers.
- Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all critical plant, equipment and systems
- Operation, trouble shooting and first time fix for the following (This list is not exhaustive)
Requirements:
- C&G Pts. 1 & 2 or equivalent in Mechanical discipline
- Current Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation Regulations or equivalent Mechanical engineering qualification
- Apprenticeship served
- Have good working knowledge of HV/LV electrical substations and equipment.
- Have a good understanding of HV Networks.
