Key Responsibilities:
- Foster an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, service excellence, and personal success.
- Proactively manage Workspace Engineering Technicians by setting clear objectives and supporting them to achieve their goals.
- Communicate the account vision and purpose, translating it into deliverables and demonstrating their contribution.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports, guiding them to develop their own development plans and regularly reviewing their performance.
- Comply with all client contract requirements and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators.
- Operate all systems within the buildings competently, effectively, and efficiently, including HV operations where required.
- Ensure regular plant inspections, work inspections, and audits to drive operational excellence across the site.
- Support the creation and adoption of standard and emergency operating procedures, providing training as necessary.
- Adhere to the account’s Risk & Safety work practices to mitigate the risk of service interruptions to the client’s operations.
- Coordinate, manage, and oversee vendors performing a wide range of workplace-related services on-site.
- Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for improving technical service delivery to enhance the workplace service experience.
- Strive for continuous improvement, identifying and implementing service enhancements and adaptations.
Requirements:
- Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition certification
- L8 Domestic certification
- Competent in the operation of evaporative cooling water systems and aware of Legionella regulations
- HV Authorised Person
- C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2
- Knowledgeable about current Health and Safety legislation relevant to safe working practices
