Air Conditioning Technical Manager
Reading
Up to £60k Plus Car Allowance

We are looking for an individual who will be looking after several contracts for one of the biggest FM providers.  You will be responsible for the delivery of Air conditioning and refrigeration services across the South of the UK. This is a Hybrid role where you will be working 3 days in the office based in Reading and 2 days from home.
You will…
  • Manage AC & Refrigeration services on your contracts given.
  • Be accountable for the financial performance of the contract.
  • Develop relationships with the client & organisations
  • Manage SLA’s & KPIS
  • Monitor and develop direct reports through training & reviews
  • Ensure H&S regulations are in place by using risk assessments, PPE & training
  • Manage your team ensuring work is completed to schedule
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across the stakeholder groups
  • Meet and understand customer requirements
  • Work with your team to ensure optimum operational performance is reached.
  • Be good at working under pressure and be good at prioritising
  • Work with the mobile teams in planning, implementing and monitoring the standards of all works relating to the PPM schedule and reactive works
  • Establish, operate and maintain procedures for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitor and review of the services
 
What will you need?
  • Refrigeration City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Formal Electrical Qualification an advantage (City and Guilds)
  • Technical background essential
  • Previous contract management experience
  • Team working experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
  • Experience of using a CAFM system
  • Suitable experience and track record in working in Facilities Management
  • Suitable knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems and F-gas legislation
  • Professional qualifications and background
