Assistant Surveyor - Property Repairs
Mayfair, London
£35,000 to £40,000
 
PRS are working with a specialist maintenance contractor who specialise in insurance repairs, to recruit for an Assistant Surveyor to join the team in Mayfair.  The Assistant Surveyor will be supporting the Surveying team to carry out inspections of insurance damaged priorities and supporting the subsequent repairs works. 
 
The position of Assistant Surveyor will cover residential and commercial property management sectors, delivering exceptional building maintenance services around the clock, in an increasingly wider geographical sphere, all in support of long-term client relationships built on trust and reliability.
 
The client was founded in 2009 to deliver exceptional property maintenance services.  They serve residential and commercial managing agents, landlords and freeholders, retailers, hospitality providers, insurers, and policyholders.  Their range of in-house services and genuine single source service delivery is unrivalled in their marketplace.

What the Assistant Surveyor needs:


  • Knowledge and experience of the repair of residential properties after a claim often following a fire or a flood / escape of water.
  • Experience of insurance works and scheduling tools used by the various loss adjusting companies we work for.
  • Experience of carrying out professional services, delivering projects and acting as contract administrator on behalf of an extremely broad portfolio of clients.
  • Able to manage a number of claims simultaneously, managing both the clients and the teams undertaking the works.
  • Experience of residential construction and ideally a background in residential repair work.
  • Experience of meeting and exceeding client expectations.
  • Good IT Skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to plan and organise.
  • Ability to problem solve and think clearly under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
