Job descriptionWe are recruiting for a Billing Clerk / Accounts Administrator to work with an Engineering and Maintenance company supporting the submission of invoices to their clients and all associated billing data administration. The role is a temporary position circa 2 months with a view to be extended. 40 hours per week. 7.45am - 4.30pm Mon-Thurs, 8.00am - 3.30pm Friday. Pay is based on 21.5k (£10.33/hr plus holiday pay).
The billing clerk / accounts administrator will work in the billing and accounts receivable department providing clerical services and invoice generation administration
Using the the database and accounts system to issue invoices to respective clients
Update the system and ensure data is correct
Ensure the PO matches the invoicing where required
Ensure the financial data is accurate and produce weekly reports as to billing status
Work with the accounts team and provide administration support
Liaise with credit control where required
Liaise with end user accounts teams
General ad-hoc administration
Experience of billing processes and invoice generation and submission
Excellent data entry and database skills and usage
Familiar with general commercial practices
Excellent administration skills and experience
Ability to manage and coordinate large amounts of data across multiple client/end user accounts
Ability to work closely with team members and overlapping divisions
