Maintenance Contract Manager (FM)
Central London based
Circa £55k salary + Bonus Scheme
Tenant & Landlord M&E contracts
Our client are a privately owned and well-established commercial projects, fit-out and maintenance business, who have a requirement for an experienced contract manager to join their business. While supporting their existing clients which are predominantly tenant and some landlord M&E contracts, there will be an expectation to look to grow the companies existing presence in multi-tenant buildings through additional tenant tenders and quoting projects/extra works. The overwhelming majority of the work is central London based, however some time will be spent in the companies SW London office, as along with management of engineering team there is also supervision of the back office co-ordination team, who work out of HQ. Guideline salary for this position is £55k, potentially more for the right individual, as well as a 10% Bonus scheme and standard benefits.
Due to the nature of the client base, predominantly corporate and tenant side contracts, this organization seek a client-facing and strong communicator who can be the face of the firm across their portfolio of sites.
Candidate will be technically minded, ideally apprenticeship trained in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least three years of experience in contract management for the built environment. Preferably this will be within similar corporate/multi-tenant sector, and particular duties will extend t:
  • Management of P&L for portfolio of commercial tenant contracts
  • Regular liaison and meetings with tenant and managing agent clients
  • Reduce WIP
  • Man Management & appraisal of engineering teams
  • Undertake regular compliance and auditing checks to industry standards
  • Generation of Projects & Extra works
  • Targeted KPIs included contract retention / tender success
