Hours of Work: 0800 - 1700, Mon - Fri

PRS Southampton is looking for a reliable and experienced Calibration Team Leader to Lead a team of administrators responsible for the maintenance and calibration of instrumentation systems on high-end commercial site near Salisbury. The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our clients working to ensure that all aspects of the calibration works (and associated records) are carried out effectively from initial request, through specification to ensuing the work is carried out appropriately.

Your Duties:

-Suggest modifications of instruments, systems or work methods 
-Develop scopes and detailed specifications to meet identified calibration requirements.
-Identify improvements to documentation and data handling systems and processes, working with the Administrator to implement changes.
-Maintain an effective filing system and develop reports to effectively measure and keep track of progress monitoring performance and routine activities of all tasked projects and investigations.
-Maintain and update calibration procedures ensuring all updates are logged
-Ensure calibration issues and failures are documented
-Carry out Calibration Contractor assessments according site Policies and Procedures
-Audit calibration team to ensure compliance with current standards

Your Requirements:

-Experience as a Maintenance or Instrument Technician within a similar sector
-HNC in Engineering
-High attention to detail
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Technical expertise, qualifications or apprenticeship in a craft skill or engineering discipline would be an important pre-requisite for the role.
-Ability to liaise and supervise contractors.
-Must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities with good influencing skills Apply for this job
