Urgently recruiting for 2 Cleaning Supervisors to join a prestigious facility in the North Yorkshire/Durham area, main duties will be to supervise and support a cleaning team of 60 on a prestigious FM contract. Must be able to pass a DBS which the client will pay forRole 1 – Cleaning Supervisor/Nights – Permanent role
Pay rate - £12.20ph
37.50 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Mon to Wed 9pm - 6pm (1 hr unpaid break)
Thurs – 7pm – 4am (1 hr unpaid break)
Fri – 3pm – 9pm (30 mins unpaid break)
Role 2 – Cleaning Supervisor/DAYS – 1 year temp contract
Pay rate - £11.20ph
37.50 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Must be flexible to work between the hours of 6am and 10pm
The client requires someone who has been in a similar role previously.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supervision of cleaning and housekeeping duties to the required standards - overseeing the team’s performance, attendance and behaviour.
The ideal candidate will display the ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines and will already have some form of supervisory experience. He/she will have a strong knowledge of Health and Safety practices in a cleaning environment and good practical working knowledge.
Assist with the supervision of staff
- Induct, train and supervisor site operatives
- Ensure a professional and agreed service to the client
- Be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the sites
- Ensure Health & Safety, quality and general procedure compliance
- Coach and support cleaning operatives to meet client standards and company objectives
- To assist the FM Manager in the Monitoring and control of labour, consumables and cleaning materials within given budgets
- Comply with company policies and procedures H&S, resource management and employment
- Contribute to the overall ethos, aims and reputation of the site
- Undertake training and development as required and use your own expertise to assist, where appropriate and necessary, with the training and development of fellow employees.
The successful candidate will have previous cleaning and supervisory experience.
Be familiar with commercial and prestigious facilities
Be presentable and conversant with the end user
Have some level of H&S training i.e. COSHH etc..
BICS training is advantageous but not essential
Be familiar with standard domestic operations such as floor polishing, deep cleans etc..
