Contract Manager
up to £65K plus Car Allowance

You will be working for one of the biggest FM providers. Working as a manager you be a true leader to your team working on a corporate contract.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the service delivery of Hard Services.
  • Responsible for the financial, safety and quality performance of the contract.
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment and working conditions for all employees.
  • Comply with company policies/procedures to ensure timely and effectively implementation.
  • Ensure contractual commitments are met in accordance with contract SLA’s / KPIs and other requirements detailed within the contract documentation.

  • Promote an open and direct management style that encourages progress and development with team members and client stakeholders
  • Ensure financial policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and monitored.
  • To be customer focused within all areas of operational activities and maximise relationships with clients.
  • Ensure the contracts are staffed by fully competent properly trained teams, with all post holders being appropriately skilled and experienced to undertake their role effectively, and that effective succession planning arrangements are in place.
  • Deliver effective communication through competent advice, leadership and direct contribution to client management meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence and monthly and ad-hoc reporting, as appropriate.
  • Ensuring the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of the sites M&E Plant and equipment and services.
  • Keep customers’ buildings safe and compliant
  • Hold appropriate and up to date records.
  • Monitor and manage WIP/Debt to an acceptable level.
  • Develop new business and relationships
  • Achieve financial budget targets set by the Account Director
  • Compliance with and record keeping for Company ISO Quality Management Systems.
  • Control and monitor the performance of the specialist service provider and sub-contractors.
  • Minimising Company risk from a technical, financial or health and safety perspective by making appropriate checks in a timely manner.
  • Responsibility for the operational management and service delivery of all contracted services.
  • Ensure the provision of extra works and ‘out of contract’ works proposals have the required authorisations before commencing and that they are produced in a timely manner, in line with contract requirements.
  • Managing costs, maximising profitability in line with budget & the requirements of the contract.
What will you require?
  • Experience as Hard Services Contract Manager and able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience of M&E Maintenance & Building Services
  • C&G or higher in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
  • Experience in CAFM, Finance and Intranet HR / Payroll Systems
  • Experience in P&L management
  • Possess a high degree of attention to detail
  • Proactive and enthusiastic Team Player that brings out the best in others
  • Is numerate and analytical and financially and commercially aware
  • Possesses MS office (word, excel and PowerPoint) skills
  • Health and Safety aware in all aspects of the business
  • Highly customer focused with a capacity to learn and progress
  • Visibly demonstrates a “Can Do’ attitude that encourages team participation
